Planning your film shoot (pre-production)

Long-time Dubbo Filmmakers members and experienced filmmakers Kellie Jennar and Erifili Davis will guide you to plan the shoot of your short film, including casting, locations, props, sets, shot lists and call sheets.

We’ll also provide you with links to templates to help you with your planning. If you already have a script of your own (even if it’s a draft), it is highly recommended you bring it with you. If you do not have a script, a sample will be provided for you to work on.

This is the second workshop in a series designed to help you finish a project to enter in the 2023 One Eye Film Festival (although this is not a requirement and you do not have to attend any of the other workshops).

It’s also a great opportunity to meet other people interested in making short films - and potential collaborators!
