2-day Producer Workshop with Margaret Tillson
8-9 Dec, 2018, Western Plains Cultural Centre, Dubbo
Do you make videos, short films, music videos, or screen content for online? Then this is the course for you.
You may not call yourself a producer, but if you are making the content, organising the interviews or actors, putting it online, entering into festivals – then you are performing the role of a producer and the buck stops with you.
As a content maker/producer, you need to be aware of your legal obligations regarding cast & crew (including volunteers), insurance, copyright, permissions, screen credits, and so much more.
This will be a practical workshop where participants will take a short film script and get it ready for production, with filming taking place in January 2019.
Participants can nominate to be a producer of 1 of 4 short film projects*. This is a great opportunity to receive a producing credit on a finished short film and have a completed project to add to your show-reel.
Note: You do not need to nominate as a producer to do this workshop.
